I would say the 1gig of RAM... mostly because I just realised that games like Far Cry runs quite bad with only 512MB of RAM.

Yep. Games like UT2004's onslaught and BF:V also choke and gag on themselves with 512mb. I too am just recently finding 512 to be not enough and upgraded my mem.

Depends on the processor involved, if its a 2.4-2.8 you're going to get screwed by ch5, if its anything above that, you won't be too badly off with ch5.

512 for benching and non-gaming rigs. Sounds strange I know but benching you want the best chance for speed, capacity not that big of a deal.

1 GB for gaming nowadays. A lot of new games will want it. If you dont have four slots etc you want to get 2*512 now. Some games will run ok on 2*256. But this is a NEW purchase. I certainly dont think you will get the longevity you are after with 2*256. One of these ram hungry games will soon be one you want to play... sooner or later. And the time seems to look to be alot sooner rather than later.

Hei, don't desviate from my question!
512 is so far from 1gb to theses games? i wanna play all of them, but 1Gb of KHX3500 is out of question...1Gb of KHX3200 can't do a good OC, can it?

r u planning serious oc ?

coz with 3.0/3.2 C it will be hard to get 250fsb or something like that ... - so u should look for tight timings and more ram ...

i think the 3200 will do good if u r not planning a serious oc ...

regardless of the cpu you pick up I'd get the pc3200 hyperX. Make sure its the non-A version. This will be bh-5 modules. The pc3500 hyperX all have ch-5 modules in them now.

So, 16x216 (easyly) = 3456Mhz
15x200 (:P) = 3000Mhz
the double ram can be better than 456Mhz ?

Hei people, i guess i found the solution!
look if it's good:
P4 3.0C + 1Gb Cosair XMS TwinPack PC3200
...and the rest u know...:p:
This memory's can get how much FSB without any memvolt changes and timmings changes?
Is it gonna be good?
