I'm going to need 1gig of RAM, so I'm looking for the best for the money (obviosly), and it shouldn't be a lot more than 400$. I'm buying them in Denmark, so the price aren't so exact. Their not going to run any faster than 440MHz I think, but I were recommended Mushkin PC3200 BH-6 because they can run 400MHz at 2-2-2, and I'm running FSB200 right now. But is there anything else worth looking at?

The hyper x khx3000 still have bh-5, and if you up the voltage it should make it up to 440mhz. It is also much cheaper than the mushkin.
KHX3000, they are BH5 2-2-2.. and they can run 400mhz at 2-2-2 to :) i run mine in 522mhz at 2-2-2-5 atm

A possibility, but it's just that I'm not much to buying PC3000 to run at least 440MHz, because if they can't I can't complain anywhere... :)
Anything else? The Corsair TwinX PC4000 just got up 100$, so no way I'm buying those.
btw, itbutikken.dk have KHX PC3000 atm.. I got it from itbutikken.dk my self :)

Thanks... I checked it, and there's a lot of shops selling them at the moment. Too bad that I realise now that I need more RAM... just when the prices are sky-rocking.

Im also currently looking for some 1 gb kit
dunno if I should go
Mushkin pc 3200 bh 6 or KHX 3200 bh5 or KHX 3000
I really want 200 FSB 2-2-2-5 stable , do the KHX 3000 easily do 200 fsb stable?

Tweak.dk tested the Mushkin kit to run perfectly stable at FSB245 at 2-2-2-5.

I think it's a good choice.

I had 2x256 pc3000 KHX and they did 235 and 245 2-2-2-5 with 3.2 V so the chance to get it up to 220 is good if you just give them some volt.

How much voltage does it take to get to 522mhz?
And how much voltage for tweak.dk to get the mushkin to 245?

They ran 440MHz at 2.8v, 460MHz at 3.0v, and 490MHz at 3.2v. And notice - this is at 2-2-2-5.

At 3.2Vdimm even CH-5 HyperX PC3500 will do 11,2,2,2 at 200Mhz in my NF7-S...1Gig....and will do 230Mhz at 11,3,2,2 without having to luck into finding BH5.

get some corsair value, save your money. I got a 512mb stick for $70 and it does 220fsb fine at 2-2-3-11 timings!

Nah, I'm not going for the Corsair Value. To much of a risk of them being lousy... I think I'll just go for the Mushkin kit.

I also say go for KHX3000. Most will do 220MHz/DDR440 2-2-2-5 fairly easy with 3v or less.

I thought Kingston no longer used BH-5 in their HyperX PC3000 and PC3200...? Won't you most likely get CH-5?
