will adding another fan below my existing one with ducting to the video cards hsf improve performance enough to justify defacing my window more.
Im trying not to buy a 9800Pro so i can get a new card when they come out but my 9500pro is starting to struggle a bit with the setting i like to play at.

Spend for ramsinks/fan/ducting or wait for video card ?
if i do the mod it will have to go on the new card also. so does it help ?

ramsinks are cheap. you might be able to get some from silversink. if he's still around, PM him.
you could also look into ducting your CPU fan to remove the heat from the case. the way it's set up now, it's dumping warm air into the case and that will affect your video card.

You could try the Tweakmonster ramsinks, and see if you can get better clocks. What
have you done to overclock the card so far?
BTW, that's a nice looking rig. Nice and clean looking :)

i usually do order from newegg but they dont stock anything like this. can anyone recommend a good site in US to order from ? i found most things i need at frozencpu.com, trustworthy site ?
thnx nailbomb. i can get 390/315 on very cold days. Better fan/heasink and ductings will help maybe. I really need to learn vmods..errr. grow some gonads and do some vmods.
John Cena - cooling package where and whats in it ? my 9500pro is already overclocked, it just has stock hsf. :D

Cooling Package means ramsinks, better hsf etc.
I have no idea where to buy these though.
You can try Coolerguys.com but I doubt they have last time I checked

If you want the Tweakmonster ramsinks try www.sidewindercomputers.com Gary has excellent service and cheap shipping, and he's quick to answer questions by email.

i've had good luck with www.2cooltek.com but they don't have the tweakmonster ramsinks.
if you've got any questions about a retailer, check out www.resellerratings.com.

FrozenCPU is a solid retailer (again, checkFrozenCPU's reseller ratings page (http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2013.html)), but they're quite pricy. I guess that's the flipside for a store that has a huge variety of items not available at larger resellers like newegg. I've ordered from them a couple times in the past, and had no problems.
My only complaint about them is that they incentivize positive ratings by giving discounts on future purchases to those who leave positive feedback on resellerratings, therefore their rating is undoubtedly higher than what it would be "naturally".
