Ok, so I got my 2.4c MO chip running at 280 fsb but the only catch is that for some reason I am only able to run with a 3/2 ratio. I have tried 5/4 and also 1/1 and they both make my computer freeze. I have also tried raising my memory voltage all the way up to 3.1 and I get the same result. Anyone using this same memory at this fsb with any tips on how to get it to work at 5/4 or even 1/1? I have also tried 270 fsb at 5/4 and 1/1 and still doesn't work.

I'm not sure but with Geil pc4200 it ran stable at 275 fsb at 1/1 so I am thinking I might need new ram but I would hate to have to give up this ram.

to assist we need information. if it wont run 1:1 @ 250 then you know you have a RAM prob or mobo incompat.
finding a stable fsb with your CPU, mobo and new RAM will take testing.
please test diff fsb in bios and furnish this info if you need help.

the VTT mod stabilises vdimm voltage, at higher volts its necessary. running DDR500 1:1will need more volts, at least @ 280.

Your vtt is off for all the settings above 2.8v. 2.9-3.2 are useless. If you are able to get into windows with any of those settings, as soon as you put a load on the ram it will most likey fail on you.
You can stabilize vdimm by removing mc64. But vtt values are off until you cut a trace and trick the windbond chip into outputing more vtt.
