I've been trying to get my new 3.0C stable at 260fsb. I thought it was stable after several hours of priming, but then I started getting random reboots every few minutes. The funny thing is that it doesn't reboot if I'm running Prime will run prime for several hours. As soon as I stop primming a few minutes latter it shuts down a reboots. This was all at 1.7v in the bios. I tried upping the vcore to 1.725. I don't get the reboots, but when I run prime it reboots. Very frustrating. I've been able to load windows at 267 and 1.75 vcore and have benched at 264 with 1.725. You'd think I could get this stable at 260. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Phil

The droop mod is the way to go man. The problem is when you stop prime its overvolting, and when run its fine.

I have done the droop mod. Maybe I need to redo it or adjust it some. I can't find the thread, looks like its been deleted. What the best resistance to set it at?

Let me tell you how the 3.0C i have been playing with reacts to voltage....
up to 4ghz 1.45
4010-4300 1.675 stable, any more and it acts similar to yours. same 1.75 that is stable @ 4350 is NOT stable at 4250...
4300+-4600 anything below 1.75 unstable.
try dropping your voltage a bit see if that may help at higher clocks...
