From what i hear, They won't let you get past 200 fsb, is this true?
I'm about to buy a dfi infinity n-force 2 mobo, w/a amd =2400 mobile, and need some tips on what ram to get. I've pretty much settled on pc3700, but need to know what brand to get.
This rig is eventually gonna get phase-change cooling, and I want to get theright ram now as opposed to later.
Any help on this???
Thanks, in advance,

Depends what memory you are going to be using. If you have normal dual channel, you should have 2x256 + 1x512 or 1024 + 2x512 with 3 slots in use. I haven't seen any reduction in overclocking abilities personally.

3 x 256 on my 8rda+, and it still sucks just as much with 1 2 or 3 sticks.
Darn A1 nb.
Will have an infinity to play with soon ;)

I think most motherboards won't run as well with all the ram-slots full. The 865 and 875 motherboards atleast according to a recent test where performing really badly. (nf2 was'nt included in the test)
Part of the boards use a lower fsb, and part default to lower timings. I don't think it's worth it to fill up all the slots with ram unless you really need the ram.

I had to mod the Xplate to fit my 8rda+
SLK-900A uses a triclip, but the 900U does have an xplate.

my SLK-800 w/ a TMD fan has not shown me wrong. The fan puts more air towards the center.
