You know, I never even looked at the chips. I'll take a peek at them tonight when i get home.

They don't dig lower timings at all?

They are 16 chip sticks, I have not tried lower timimg, and I Just put heatspreads on them. I didnt take the numbers off before doing so.... sorry =\

Well try CAS 2.5. And bring that voltage up if it likes it! I've seen some memory which does absolutely the same @ CAS 2.5 and CAS 3.

The ram right now is set to 250FSB (DDR500) 3-3-3-8 @ 2.7v.
It looped 3DMARK 2001SE for about 30min with no issues. I was using a junk PSU and I didnt want to juice the ram too much until I got some better cooling on it. But I dont think this RAM likes voltage. When I set the voltage to 2.9 originally when I was going for 250FSB it locked at the desktop. All I did was lower the voltage to 2.7 and it went in fine. Once I get the system completed ill test it with prime95 for 100% Stablilty at 250FSB. But if it bombs the worse I bet ill end up with is the same timing at like 247-248FSB which will still get me a 3700Mhz+ OC of my 3.0c.
I got a good PSU coming for it tomorrow (friday). Once I get them in ill then see if I can tighten the timing any.
The funny part is this was to be nothing more then a BS kick around PC. Though it runs good, you can definitly see that my AI7/3.2c/Mushy blacks 2-2-2-5 system is more responsive, but it could be the raptors as well.
I might invest in a set of raptors for this system next.

ok after some testing the best I can do 100% stable is 3-3-3-8, 2.7, 247FSB.
That gets my 3.0c to 3705Mhz and a 6008 Sandra score.
I'll sit pat at that.

Those timings are ugly. You would gain a nice boost from some bh-5 at 2-2-2-5.

ok, can you show me some ram (2X512s) that can do 2-2-2-5 timing 24/7 at 247FSB (DDR494) in a board that doesnt need any volt mods? :)
I'll take 3 pair please.

What language is that? Without a volt mod? I don't know what that is. :D
Without that part and a little luck you can get bh-5 that will do that with some healthy voltage. :toast:

Isn't your mushkin faster than that higher clocking ram? I made a p4 system for a friend and through my pc3200 level 2 mushkin in there at 225mhz and got 6103mb/s of bandwidth.

My Mushkin/AI7 system is definitly more responsive/quicker, but I cant get my Mushkins to run that fast on my MAX3 regardless of the voltage. Fastest I can get em on either board is 5800.
