MSI 865PE NEO PFISR - Memory Timings?

Does this board not change the memory timings or something? Anyone got any input on this?

I'm not that happy with my AI7 so I'm thinking of changing to this (bundle deal) w/ a P4 3.0ghz SL6WU

it has good voltages, meaning I don't need to mod :/

Any ideas anyone? I could go for the P4P800 I guess :)

why don't u like tha AI7?

I'd stay away from the MSI's.

SL6WU / SL6WK is a good choice, make sure u get one with the new package ;)

Sometimes my PC goes really laggy after a game or something :/ Also the boards hissing noises seem to be getting worse :/

I heard its the BIOS on the MSI that is causing your problems (memory timings not changing etc).

I dont own one soulburner, but thats the problem huh? Thanks for the heads up man.

Even tho my board makes hissing noises (more since I changed psu to a vantec ion 400w from trueblue 480w) it passes prime for ages. And the temps r good.
