I got this from a friend who got it from his work for free (it has a damaged core, but work fine according to him).

I can't say I'm an expert on AMD steppings/codes, but I think this one looks weird.

I mean... batchno. 4459?! AQXGA? XPCQ? "F"?

I have no working mobo so I haven't tested it yet.

batch 459.. way high..

F is not abnormal, ive had one, but the AQXGA and XPCQ are just friggin weird.. i had one where your XPCQ was MPM.... 3 instead of 4.. who knows.

I'm thinking, maybe it's from a batch made for OEM sale or something like that. The guy works at a place that distributes to webshops or something like that.

I don't exactly expect it to be a great OC'er, and I've ordered a 2400 35w so it's not important. :)

ive heard teh theory that high batch # is a good thing.. the process is refined and stuff... i dont think it works that way myself.
