Ok, the systems is watercooled P4 3.2C, IC7-MAX3 mobo and A-data Vitesta DDR500 1024MB dual-kit.

I would like to try run my RAM over FSB, but is it possible in any way ? I know usually it is not possible with 800MHz CPU, but I understood, that running 199MHz FSB and N/B Strap setting on 400 or 533 I might be.

Problem is, when I put N/B Strap on 400, memory ratio into 3:4, I can't get FSB more than 148MHz. 150MHz for example gives me a long BIOS beep and I gotta reset BIOS. PAT is on AUTO("easiest"?).

Thanks...

the only way to run asynchronous with Ram higher is 3:4 or 4:5 if your board offers it, some mobos dont like to work with diff dividers, or should I say some ram doesnt like it...what is highest stable fsb that CPU can handle?

Try using the following setting for GAT (PAT) A, N, A, D, D . It might help. Of course It would be really nice to have a 4:5 setting with the 800 NB strapping. I tried many different combos trying to get my memory up to rated speed and nothing worked for me. I finally settled on 1:1 ratio at 231 the best I could get on the 3.2c with water

My 3.2C runs about 233FSB @ 1.55 Vcore, giving more Vcore helps only a little bit. I got 3.93GHz @ 1.80 Vcore. Water is about 30 degrees celsius.

1:1 233FSB works just fine, but since memory modules are DDR500, I would like to see, how much they really can do. Propably need to get a Prommy sooner or later. With Prommy I guess CPU could also stand 250+ FSB.
