I must say, my Corsair XMS3500 performs really bad in this mobo.
I now have my 3.2 P4 at 215 FSB, with turbo and fastest mem timings and it dont really like that, the most I can push to is 217-218.
I have tried to go the other way round slow timings, no turbo or mam, I can only get to 222, I know one of my sticks will go to 478 DDR at timings of 2,7,3,3,1 this wasin single channel mode though in a IT7 Max2 board.
So I am tearing my hair our really, tried so many different ways of getting memory faster but cant.

Thinking of doing this vdimm mod but not sure.

Your Corsair is of the Notorious "BH5" variety, pipe some juice to them, they'll be frying, errr.... Flying right along;) Seriously do that Vmod, you won't be sorry...

tried the worse stick on its own and that did 460 ddr no probs and I know the other stick does the same. so a vmod will cure this then
I have a 47k variable resister here, its not the blue type one though, its quite abit bigger, do maplins sell smd grabbers then.
