ALL right, well here we go.

Macsean13 has a few questions about his bios settings on the previously stated board.

Super bypass = What enable or disabled?

Sync mode memory bypass What is is? Enable, disable?

data scavenged rate? enable, disable, what is it/ who is your dady and what does he do?

Command per clock? What is it and what should he set it at.

Dim driving strengths and slew rates?

Thanks in advanced guys. I'm sure he'll apreciate all of your help.

All enabled.

DIMM driving strengths and slew rates? Set them to auto or play around 'til you find a set that works. "15" all around was *slightly* more stable for mine than "1" or auto.

Have you tried the 2/17 Alpha? 7 additional settings for the RAM, confusing as the    :banana:ens lol...

(Edit) JBELL, a legitimate word, a workaround word for a cuss word was banana'd lolol...

That's hella funny.   :banana:ens. Like the author.

Na, Macsean13 went home. He had to go spend time with his girlie. I thik he got most of it figured out. Semper Fi and I were just trying to work out all the little things.

Sorry to post such an undecent question. I'm sure if we ran a search we would have found a thread or two about the DFI board:D but, umm, whatever.

Thanks for the quick reply though. :toast:

i really need to get crackin, something besides hardware has to be stopping me at a stable 243fsb, anything higher and i get random reboots, or just prime95/memtest errors. I have posted and got into windows at 255, done some benching at 255. never tried anything higher.

hmm, i use the 1 21 bios. i hear cpc enabled does give better performances, but higher fsb if disabled.

hey Nookie420, what do you have all your memory settings set to? I have been burning in my mem with memtest at 240x10 and I got all errors but none at 235x10. how did you get the mem to work at such a high fsb??? btw my mem is 3200 hpx so maybe thats why? Anyways my system will boot to windows with current settings but it is not stable, it crashes under load. I'm thinking my cpu dosen't like the voltage or I have the bios settings wrong. If you could give me a list of your bios settings anybody... that would be awsome. thx a million guys.....
