Welcome to the sickness!!:welcome:

I take you have an asus board from the 2.85v question. I have heard of GeIL 500's running at DDR400 2/3/3/5. Are you looking to have extra headroom?

What would be the point there thou? Why not get something thats rated for DDR400 2.5-3-3-7? Kingston ValueRAM CL2.5 should do the trick easily.

Take some KHX PC3000 or some OCZ PC4400.

FUGGER have some OCZ4200 1:1 w/ lower card clock then ,acci and OPP and is pretty close to them. Now I whould look for those. Im thinking of getting some myself

I know my GeIL PC4200 will run 2.5-2-3-8 @ DDR400 on 2.85v just fine. Incredibly versatile stuff :D .

Don't expect all sticks to do this though. Most high-speed memory has horrible latencies.

read up at anandtech.com

kingmax ddr500 can do 2-2-2-5 at ddr400

they are like oczpc3700 rev2

i saw these memory last month. but they max out at about 260fsb and don't like high voltages

OK, ive just realized something: If DDR500 can do 2-2-2-5(or close to that) at DDR400, that meens DDR400 should be able to do DDR500(or way more) @ 3-4-4-8, no?

yep, samsung quoted on their ddr500 using 3 yearold modules. its just the way they are configured.

Not BH-5, it cannot run CL3. It won't boot.

Have to run 2.5-4-4-8 at slowest.

i tested some pc4000

i wouldn't recommend running ddr 500 tighter than their rated spd. because it could be slower due to corruption slowing down processing.
