View Full Version : Need a German (or NL) with experiences in Mach I modding

I would like to mod my Mach I to R507 but I've got nobody who has experiences with it and even nobody who has any R507.
Are here any german or dutch people who could do it, or at least tell me who could do it for me?
I live in northrhine westfalia, near to the border to the netherlands, so it would be fine to find somebody who would do it.
check gelbe seite for "kältetechniker" etc... or "klimaanlagenbauer". should get you someone to regas your machine. but you could very well use 404a as it's only around 1°C higher temps than with r507. oh and its 507a - iirc 507 shouldn't be available around here

Well ok, I know one who did my Vapochill R404a mod but I had some problems with it.
It would be nice to find somebody who already did that mod. And maybe sombody who did also adjust the cap-tube.
Wasn't there a bigger difference between R404a and R507(a)?
checkout bowmans modshop thread.. i think somewhere on the last few pages is a comparison of temps. or ask gary... he'll tell you basically the same as i did :)

well....ok. I read some more threads and finally found out that the temps are nearly equal ;)

or u cud just call a freezer repair shop and do it.
I bought mine ready modded with 507a in NL.

Yeah, sure. But it would be nice to find anybody who already modded a prommy :)

Contact Haeg. Quite a drive for you (he lives near the coast in NL), but you might also choose to ship the Prom. The guy is great and has done >20 proms already.

Well, that would be an idea. But maybe I'll find somebody who lives a little bit closer to me.
