View Full Version : Speakers and Sound Card?
Does anyone have any suggestions on buying these components? The time has come for me to upgrade.
Try to picture this: (my current setup)
1 SoundBlaster 16 PCI
2 Altec Lansing ADA-305
I realize ANYTHING would be better than my current setup.
So my question, what is the best BANG for the BUCK?
Any replies would be appreciated! Thanks

I run the altec langsing ADA880 speaks and are perfect!!! but about $100 for the set...

Klipsch Promedia 5.1 speakers are about the best out there right now, but they aren't very cheap.

Yeah, that speaker set is suppost to be compareable to Klipsch, and about 1/4 the price.
I guess that's what I'm looking for: The best price!
I can't be spending over $200 for the components!

look to the santa cruz sound card the turtle beach runs $70 at Frys
then look for some altec digital speakers on ubid at the price of you selection and keep with that price - they always have more auctions.
