Ok i'm about to build my system on an asus P4P800 mobo with a 2.4MO and hyperx 3200 bh-5. i wanna oc to at least 285 fsb but was wondering if my mem could be oced that far on 5:4 divider at 2225 timings which was mainly why i bought the bh-5. that would be around 228 fsb for the mem. this is without vdimm mod because it seems much too complicated for me. thanks for the advice.

228, stock Vdimm....sometimes...maybe :D
A rare pair of sticks, yes... but possible. but fyi, the Vdimm mod on the P4P/P4C... is REALLLL easy..

mostly youll get stuck at around 225. 228 is very rare. and yes i agree, the vdimm mod is VERY simple compared to pretty much every other vmod ive seen in my life.

Mine do 224 2-3-2-5 2.85v, no where near prime stable.
219 2-2-2-5 same volts, again not stable.
Runs 3DMark2001 at those speeds. 3DM03 and AM3 are a bit lower tho, seem to push the mem more.
I hear my vdimm undervolts on the P4P though.

I just love (http://mbnet.fi/elixir/3.4C/Sandra_Buff.PNG) these sticks :D P4C800-E DLX / 3.4V
I picked those from pile of 43 KHX3200 sticks, and these were the
best ones. I tested those on AI7 and they are capable to 265MHz 2-2-2-5 / DC / Street Racer / 3.5V. Now I have 3.4C processor, so I cant have full avantage from those sticks :p:

Nope, I doubt you will find it at any e-tailers any more. You'll have to search the classifieds at some of the forums and expect to pay a premium for it.

I know that charlie is selling a bunch of KHXPC3000 BH5/6 that can AT least do 222 at 2.8V(AT LEAST)

zipzoomfly doesn't update often enough. My friend ordered 4 sticks of that and it is the A variety. Pulled the spreaders off of one and they are of course CH-5 chips.

Did he pay the 175 or the 135 price? If it was the higher price I'd raise a stink.

I'll have to ask him. If that dope ordered the wrong stuff, I'll smack him. :p:

Hopefully he did order the wrong ones and zipzoom is a reliable place to get the khx3200 non A's.
