Hello everyone

I have a couple of questions. I am trying to get the most of my system and can not pass the 2526Mhz with my current setup:

Gigabyte 7N400 Pro/ Bios F-12/XP 2700+ @ 2526Mhz = 211X 12
Mach I Cooling/ Nvidia GeForce FX5200 128MB
Mushkin DDR PC-3200 Level II Dual Pack/ 2-2-2/ 160GB-33GB Maxtors / Win2000 Pro
Temps: -11C idle/ -8C Load

I think The memory is good and the CPU should overclock..
Am I being limited to the board?

I got a boot at 2640Mhz = 13x203, but I would not pass into Windows, I get the Blue screen..
I have tried to up the volts: CPU 1.825V, Vcore +5%, and Dimm to .2+.
My board goes higher in the CPU 1.850 but that's it
my current Mem timmings are 11-3-3-2.5.

Also:
How can I save screen results into my PC? So I can post later with you guys...

Thanks

Daniel Rodriguez

I can't offer any suggestions on increasing your overclock but to save screenshots:

Press the Print Screen button at the top of the keyboard to take an entire screenshot

Or

Press Alt + Print Screen to take a screenshot of the application you are running over everything else (this is used most of the time unless you want to get an entire screenshot of numerous benchmark readings at once)

Once you've done that, just load up MS Paint and at the top click Edit----->Paste. Now you have a screenshot on MS Paint that you can save as a file and keep on your computer.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Cool it works... Now al least I can save the whole screen for later reference.

OT: rofl, I've never seen someone with a mach 1 using a fx5200 as their main card.

Get that voltage up (you'll probably need to do a voltmod). I had the same CPU, gave it 2.15v to CPU Core, and it ran all day happily at 2.9Ghz (200x14.5) on a MkII, so I'd say 2.75 to 2.8Ghz should be doable on a MkI

Your ram's stock rating is 200FSB at 2-2-2 timings, so change your memory timings to 11-2-2-2 and give the ram 2.8 to 2.9v (more if possible...!)

Hello Marci

Thanks for teh feedback. I will check on this voltmod deal..
Ram: I will change setting and see what happens..

Thanks

-Set vcore as high as it will go

-Set vdimm as high as it will go

You should be able to run 220 x 12/12.5 @ 2-2-2-5/6 memory timings as you have very good ram that likes voltage.

Try 220 x 11 and see if its stable, then up the multi and see where your max is.
