As above really, I can't really find 2x256mb of Bh5 ram in the UK now.
So I was checking both of these, and wondering whether either would be a good purchase.
I've read a review of both, and the PC4000 Gold overclocked further than the 4200, but what are you guys opinions on them?
Do some boards still have problems with OCZ ram?
EDIT: Also spotted some OCZ PC3500 Platinum 256mb sticks. I hear these are BH5?

I have a gig of ocz pc4000 running at 247FSB 1:1. It's the el gold, 2.5cas, it's nice stuff imo. I have hit 250 with it, haven't gone any higher yet with it. This was done on my p4p800 deluxe + 3.0C

hate to crap on this thread but my GeiL PC4300 does 280 in synch (or did when I had my 2.4C). It really rules for the big clocks.

Stock for the ram is 250mhz so you're not really pushing it or anything :p:
I've had my PC4000 for a while now. I would say it has served me well when it comes to 1:1, but once you switch to 5:4 or 3:2 it becomes somewhat useless. If you plan to combo 2.4c then I'd probably opt for the pc4200. If you do go with pc4000 out of the box you can expect just a little less then 265@approx 2.8v after a bit of use it should allow you to run around 268@2.8v. I've modded my motherboard(partial hipro stylez :D ) to give me more stability at higher fsb's so your results wont be the same as mine but those are the numbers from an unmodded board. I would suggest this ram if you don't want to live the life of running 3.3v through your ram, or would just like the 1:1 @ high fsb. If you have any other specific questions I'll answer them :)
OCZ PC3500 Platinum 256mb is not bh-5, its ch-5. The pc3500 platinum Limited Edition is bh-5.
