I picked up my first Barton a couple days ago, and I might have a real winner here. It's a AQZFA 0402XPMW. I noticed that most of the best chips in overclockers database are either AQZFA or AQZEA, with none of those being made this year, all 03xx. I have a NF7-S on the way, using a crappy Asus right now, :rolleyes: , so I'll update this early next week. :cool:

Update, I didn't get that Abit board after all, but got my volt-modded 8RDA+ back out of storage. It took me awhile to figure things out, mostly that multis are locked, :( , but I now have the Barton running @2.2 GHz. :cool: I'm guessing there's more in it, I'll find out soon. :D Also, I applied the mobo money towards a 9800Pro, that does 425/375 so far. I'm gonna wait awhile longer before getting an A64 or whatever, to see how the socket 9xx (whatever) does. If nothing else, it might lower the prices of Opterons & A64's. :cool:

Well, my AQYHA Barton 0407 .. at now, it's running 2200MHz.@1.70V, cause XP SP1 wants some more V ..

I tryed hard OC too, it's running 2508MHz. with no prob. and with AIR ( TT Volcanp 7+ ) After the 228FSB, my PQI RAM is starting blocking! :P I buy it a couple days ago, and i'm pretty satisfied! :)

Mmm gotta check what chip my barton is... I knwo its a week 36 so its unlocked :D:D

This AQUCA0307XPEW must have a pedigree...it's a dawg...it won't do over 2.3 no matter what...I've got 5 1700's that all do over 2.6 on air...I hate this barton...total waste of the Benjimins!!!
