:slobber: Hi folks, I've been out of the loop awhile, but I'm SERIOUSLY tempted with the Athlon 64. I saw this board and put it in my basket immediately, but thought I'd get some opinions & input, if any. ;) Thanx in advance.
I wanted to try it, but it took way to long to come to market. I'm also curious how it performs compared to the other ViA boards.

I dunno... I think I've stopped caring for socket 939/PCI lock...
I'm using this Shuttle AN50R on 9800 Pro + 2x 256 KHX3000 and a AUDIGY 2 ZS Gamer and so far I've hit 285x8.5 stable and nothing crapped out surprisingly.
I'm not even sure I'll buy a socket 939 chippy when it comes out, as the availibility of Dual Channel is still not the same as having double the cache, whether the cache increases performance or not is comparable to whether or not dual channel memory actually makes anything run faster + smoother, because while Intel rigs seem to have the crazy high bandwidth when they use quad pumped FSB, Intel's don't perform aswell as AMD's in terms of games.
