I have a friend with a stick of mushkin 2100 that he said runs 2-2-2-5.. so i asked to take a look at it, and the chips are labeled at the end as BH-75. Is this bh-7, slower than 5 or 6? How well does this stuff actually run? Just kinda wondering.

Does it say Winbond on it?
and 75 would mean BH-7.5 (7.5ns).
Give her everything you can and see! ;)

7.5ns memory is generally PC2100 stuff so I wouldn't doubt that it exists. That's also the same speed as PC133. It can probably do maybe 180mhz... with enough voltage.

Increase volts and see if you can't get it higher.

There's not much to say about the ram anyway. It might be some rare BH7.5... try to dig up datasheets. It still might not pack the MHz need which is necessary and his boards volts are maxed out. It was interesting and curious to see if anyone had tried some I bet, but nothing to do but jack the volts and try... unwilling to do a vmod the ddr.... done deal pretty much.

I just spent 10 minutes deleting posts that never should have been made! Keep the thread on topic. From now on if a thread gets crapped on like this contact a moderator.

I have a couple sticks of Mushkin here, max is shown in screenshot, will do 181 @ 2,2,2,5, and 19x @ 2.5,2,2,5 Voltage was 2.9, decent memory for its age.

Gottcha beat with this close to noname stuff :p:
(this stuff will also do 2-5-2-2 up to 183 :p: )
This is @2.9v with turbo and enhanced on, cpc too.

maybe its bh memory built with 18ยต? give it a nice load of volts and see how high you can get it. and check how high you can get it with 2.5-3-3 timings. its typical for bh5 and bh6 memory that it only ocs slightly higher with relaxed timings than with 2-2-2 timings.
a friend of mine has a stick of infinion 2100 memory that does 170 with 2-2-2 timings with only ~2.85 , i will try to get it into my rig and see what i can get out of it with 3.3v :D
I've got a 256 of crucial pc2100 which does 155 2-2-2-5-1t with 2.85v.. wonder where it'd go with 3.2v.. *wonders about getting 3 sticks running in the kr7a* :o

Nice cheap memory there for sure, but mine are a few years old already(senior rule applies?);) , so they do nicely for there age, If they are indeed winbond, I bet they would fly with a bit of juice forced on them.
