I am curious if there is something I can do to make my vantec fans think the temperatures are warmer then they are to make then run faster??? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If theres just a little thing that sticks out, and sense the temperature from the fan, peel back the sticker, on some fans the board is exposed. If it is, you just have to bridge the connection between the 2 legs of the temperature probe. Make sure you test it off a power supply you aren't really really worried about, because as allways theres a chance it won't work properly. (I've done it to about 4 fans here and havn't had any problems, but they're not Vantec fans, they were nidec ones)

Thanks...
If I just cut the sensor and attached the remanding portion of the legs from its ends would that accomplish the same thing? If this completely fails will it still run at its lowest speed or is there a chance it may not function at all?
It has the possibility of damaging the PSU?? Thanks for that news I wouldnt have thought that but I guess it makes sense.... Just a little more information before the cutters come out to play :)
