Hey guys uhhh i have a problem
i got my 2.8C i think it's a revision M0, so i assumed that it would get phenomal overclocks but this was the highest i was able to get it.
any suggestions as to what to get it to 3.8?
i am on watercooling right now and system specs are below
Asus P4C800 Deluxe
2.8C
corsair xms pc2700
enermax 465watts

Try it with more volts on your CPU. I think the RAM will be a problem at a higer FSB, becuase it´s only PC2700

what watercooling? asus boards are repoting the temps to be lower than what they really are

You can also try disabling Hyperthreading. It's usually good for a little extra mhz. If i remember my Northwood Voodoo anything over 1.7v for extended periods of time can be the death of them, but the MO steppings can take it. (senior member please correct me if I'm wrong)

Asus also overvolting at idle so you must be with default vcore..cause asus probe says 1.6
try as cold_ice said to raise a little vcore.
While it overvolts a bit, it drops a LOT under load... in my case from 1.675V to 1.585-1.6V with full load.
That droop mod would fix that, but dont think i will do that.. better just keep it on 100% load with F@H ;).

even though it's not running over it's rated speed the fsb going too high will not let it post?
oh and i will upgrade the ram to 2 sticks of 512mb OCZ pc3700 gold rev. 2 tell me if im goin in the wrong direction here
i've read alot of good reviews about it and IT JUST LOOKS SO NICE!!!!
