Hey Fellows...
Just got my Mach I, and have been testing my system.
My temp on the evap is -30, in Bios/win 6+. on this system:
Abit Nf7-s, Amd barton 2500+@ 2590 Mhz(Aqzfa-0336), Vcore 2.0.
Is this okay?
Thank you

Sounds about right depending on what bios revision your motherboard is using. Your jpg linx above don't work...
Each bios for the Abit board is calibrated differently in terms of temp sensors. Bios16 gives the lowest temp readout, and should report back in the region of -10 to -15 at that speed and voltage if your contact is good enough

Okay, then i will dl bios 16, too see if my temp will drop.
But now another problemer have started, Every few seconds I hear a crackling sound from the compressor and I get this sounds with and without load on it, I would like to know if it is normal?!

Define "crackling"
Shouldn't be anything that can crackle as such. You might get the occasional "plink" noise of floodback into the compressor, which just means you're not putting enough load on the unit...
Crackle to me denotes electrical shorting

year "plink" is the word for that, but sometimes i get the sound 3-5 times in a minut, isent it too much?
Sorry for my english :)

the noise is OK and should more or less dissapear if you stress the system :)

Basically, the Promi can cope with a 2500+ OC'd to 2.9Ghz+. If you run the CPU at lower than 2.6Ghz @ load with 2v you will get the plinking noise (from my own personal experience). It's making the noise cos you're only using the cooling power of the Prommi for an overclock achievable on water, so you aren't utilising the units cooling power to it's max potential.
Either leave speed as it is and increase voltage slightly and run F@H at all times, or OC your chip further!

It seems as it not working to hard with an evap temp of -30c. Mine is at -27 to -26 on an NF7 at 2.1 volts this would be at load however.

Well i have an epox 8rda+ and an amd xp2100 (normally 1.8)
Its currently sitting at 2.4ghz and the Mach1 LCD shows between -38C and -32C while motherboard monitor shows average of 2C to 11C under full load.
I live in florida and have yet to fire up the AC so the room can get hot.
I have reset the block 3 times being a paranoid new user but I think that the cpu contact diode must be touching the bottom of the chip or something.
In any event my 9500np which was running fine as a 9800pro just up and died so I am waiting for a real 9800pro from newegg to roll in the door.
I think tonight I am going to really push this puppy hard and see what happens. The epox has a vantec copper on the northbridge and cheap fan on the south. I have some heatsinks I am going to stick on the mosfets.
After reading all these posts I am wondering if my actuall block temps per the LCD on the mach 1 should be higher indicating a better contact.

My Mach1 did also make those "plink" sounds, so I send a mail to nVENTIV including a sound recording. But they doesn’t know what it is, not the best support I think.
So Im glad that your guys know it.
