asus posted new bios 1016 maybe it fixes 3.2 prescott problems?
just flashed and all seems well.

P4C800-E DLX bios works fine here. Nothing seems to change, compared to bios 1015. Perhaps they just fixed those Prescott multiplier problems :rolleyes:

Well i was brave, and all went ok. back to my FSB of 251 @ 1:1. Ran some UT2k3 and no problems yet. Don't notice any changes tho.

Damn, I am in Japan on vacation. No testing of the new bios for me yet. I hope it fixes my 3.2E being seen as a 2.8 with 14X multiplier problem. Oh well, I will have to wait a bit to find out.

Well, spoke too soon. I started to get lock ups. Flashed back to 1007 and evrything's back to normal. I even tweaked up my vdimm to 3.35v to no avail. So much for that.

gota link for that 1007 bios?

i seem to be hitting a 250 fsb wall with 5:4 div on all these new bio updates, vcore does not help :confused: 1.52 (lowest seems the best)

i take it the 1007 bios is good 4 clockin ect?
i used to be fine on my old p4c800 @ 300 fsb with mach ii

mine is running fine @ 275fsb (currently at) no worries...same as per 15 bios...

That is beta isnt it?

1. Do not use old version Afudos.exe to flash BIOS.Must use new Afudos (2.07) to flash BIOS.
2. Using ASUSLiveUpdate to flash BIOS,you need to upgrade ASUSLiveupdate to v 5.22.02 or later before flash BIOS.
3. Fix Prescott Locked CPU cant run to highest frequency.
4. Updata Intel RAID BIOS v3.54.
5. Support new CPUs. Please refer to our website at: http://www.asus.com.tw/support/cpusupport/cpusupport.aspx
6. Fix the issue that Logitech QuickCam under Win98

with my P4C800-E Deluxe i cant set the voltage higher than 1.872v.. if i do, i get a big fat blue screen on my way in too windows.. (I have done the dropmod)

i use a P4 2.4C M0 cpu.. any ideas? its the same ยงยงยงยง with 1011 and 1016 bios..

this 1016 bios is BS , i get lockups after 2-3 hours of prime , back to 1015 and no problems......

I ran prime 12 hours yesterday.. @ 3600mhz and stock volt.. works fine for me.

Well, I finally gave 1016 a shot.

Set to stock, flashed, rebooted.

Wouldn't even go one MHz over stock.

Back to 1011 for me. :)

I'm still using 1011, never bothered changing it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I hope it works for [CODE] 4 though.

Has anyone else come across a 3.2E for a P4C800E yet? I would like to have someone to compare my crap to. Being the first on the block with a new toy kinda sucks sometimes :(
