Well I got my Mach 1 last week and I finally got everything done to my specs.
Inwin Q500 Full Tower
Epox 8rda+
AMD XP2100
2 sticks of 256mb twinmos DDR
2 120gb 8mcache SE WD HD's
ATI 9500NP modded to 9800 with no artifacts
Antec Copper cooler on the Northbridge and a cooler on the south
120v 120mm fan on the front, 80mm exhaust in the rear
480 true power with 2 fans
CD-Rom
CD-RW (need to upgrade to dvd-rw)
The drives are in a special tower above the tower itself, yes this beasty is TALL! But it helps keep things cool.
After 2 days of tweaking and playing I got it to 2.8ghz stable with no need for the volt mod! MM5 reports 2C no load with 8C at full load. I do not trust the temps, need to get hardcano and carefully put it between the chip and socket
Then just last night after working all day and me ready for some UT2004 the video card died. I tested it out another system and it duplicated the lines and screwy colors. For now a cheap old PCI vga card is holding down the fort while I just :smileysex
Got an RMA from new egg and crossing my fingers that I will get back a decent equivilant card :)
But as far as the mach 1 goes, I am impressed. Perhaps one of these days I will get it modded and go for nutz lol
