I finally made it into the 22k club, front page in my class too! Of course, Xtreme systems is right in my compare title. I swear...it seemed to take forever as this is a 100% aircooled gaming machine (Have to run DX9, etc.)

I find it hard to believe that your 9800 Pro was doing that (475 core 378 mem) out of the box totally stock. Plus if it was then you were really lucky. However this thread wasn't about your score...now was it???;)
...2.4C @ 297FSB with no mods...riiiiiiight.:bs:

I think he was only referring to the card being un-modded.
So has the XT done anything score wise for you yet HW?

I have seen several 2.4's boot straight at 300fsb out of the box in a P4C800...it just takes a good chip.

how is 3.58ghz no mods hard to beleive? lots of them do that stock voltage? and no i have no mods ZERO mods.
actually ima try for 23k now, last time i've benched this thing was almost a year ago. btw this chip runs at 3.4ghz 1.45v so benching at that wasnt tooo hard but it was very unstable. I just remeber making a thread like yours a long time ago and it just got ignored, iono just kind of upsetting when I put all the work into it and everyone just ignores it:( But you wouldnt know because you did get praised. My radeon was ton of artifacts at that speed also. My first one wouldnt do 425 without crapping out, but I went back to frys and got another one and this is what I got. Once i mod this and get better cooling i hope it does more

Hey man...If you did all that without any voltmods on all stock equipment then you rock bro...
Keep pushing it up! :toast:
*Note - My Sapph 9800Pro 256MB / XT sucks...I had an awsome 9800Pro and traded it for this turd... :(
Thanks :toast: anyways I can try for 23k sometime, but I dont think I can make it. I had freeeeezing ass cold weather in my room and 297fsb was unstable as hell........and my card was artifacted like nutz but it made it. poor thing 23k might be hard but, I think I can do it. haha I thought 21k was hard to hit at first :smileysex :toast:

One big thing though...I only post scores that run totally clear of artifacts...
Matter of fact.....My system at it's 22k configuration looped SuperPi for 8 hours and 3Dmark2001 for 3. I then chose to shut it off, as it never crashed...

I need to get something better then mod it. then I need to mod this board, but not sure if I want to because its rev1.0 IS7 and it isnt stable at stock settings. Thing is my ram WONT run in this board at 200mhz FSB 1:1 :( POS board lol. I think this chip could be stable at 3.6ghz if it werent for this board

Mine did 302 from bios. I think it did it even with the stock cooler, but I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure this chip would do 4ghz under better cooling cause it's pretty strong.
my old 2.4c was a gem. did 300 fsb right out of the box. only thing was, my board would not allow me to run 5:4, so i was forced into running 3:2 with PC3200 2-2-2-5. of course, this was before i had the genius idea of volt modding ;)
