hey,

I dont know what ive did(lol), but now when i turn on my compresor(R134a, 1HP), my room light are comming a bit lower and the compresor only run like 10sec(very very very low, almost no noise is comming from{now}) and then it shut downs. And after it shut downs i have to wait like 10min before i can turn it on back, but its always doing the same thing:rolleyes:.

What do you guys think?

Have you got this setup or are you just testing it ?

It sounds like the protection is kicking in. Which it would if not connected up.

1hp I'm not surprised your lights dim. :D

sorry, its probably not a 1HP, it says 1PH, so i though it was ike 1HP.

what can i do for what youre saying? im a n00b in phase-change, compressor and all that.

THX

EDIT: And its a freezer compressor, ive tryed to removed it and after(mid-way) ive tested it and it did that. My chiller is not finish, i dont have all my part.

And if i cant repair it, do you know where i can buy a new one(local, i dont buy from internet)?

THX alot

I think they mean 1 phase as in normal electric supply, as apposed to 3 phase.

Is it connected up or youre just testing it, just plugged into the electric, but no evap, condensor etc. ?

Did it run OK before you started removing the foam ?

yup, but i didnt broke anything. Is it possible that when a compressor is placed vertically it can brake?

I don't think so, as long as it wasn't running like that. I've had them in all positions and they've still been OK after.

It sounds like its the overheat protection kicking in, but I don't know why it would, if you havn't disturbed anything.

Sounds like you broke something in the start circuitry. You forgot to connect a start cap, broke a wire, or connected it up wrong.

ive triple check and try and its doign exaclty the same thing:(. I guest i will have to buy a new one:(.

Do you know where to buy a very cheap core+evap and all the stuff needed to chill my water, i dont have more then 70$ to spend on that.

BTW water: what to you meen by klink?

Ok, ive just realized something. When it shut down its doing a a "click", and after i cant open it back, i have to wait a bit(unpluged) and after a bit it does another "click"(the same) and then i can start it back.
