9600pro Vmod

Hi all

I have bought a Madview Radeon 9600pro (lite?) (http://www.madview.com/products/9600pro.php), but I want to go faster.:)

Stock speeds are 400/400 (GPU/mem), after some mod's I came tot the 465/450, but I want to go faster, I want to Vmod it!
I begon to search whit google, etc but I can't find a good how-to for my cart. I asked a couple of frients, but they didn't know either.:(

Meaby you die-hard OCers can tell me how I can Vmod it?

have you tried looking on www.unoid.net/9600pro mate, to see if your card matches up to any of the guide images he has over there?

I already saw that site, but as you can see, my cart is totaly difrent.:(

I've seatch for hour's, so I don't thare is any how-to for my type of cart, I hope you guy's can make one.:)

A little update.

As I said, my card is a 9600pro lite, this means that it is a 9600 non-pro whit the GPU of a 9600pro. Mij card match on some point whit the card in this (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?threadid=30066) thread.

I also found two point where I could read 3.35V and 1.25V. I think that are the voltages of my mem (3.35V) and my GPU (1.25V).

Check out my 9600 topic here (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=273737). I'm sure that if you read it all it will prove really useful, since our 2 video cards are pretty much alike.

yeah, seems i've got the same card m8, i'm looking for Vmods of that card as well :)
I don't think that the Mem voltage is the 3.35v tho... seems too high for SDRam isn't it?

3.3V was the standard for low-speed SDR SDRAM - the stuff you got on PIII and Slot A athlon boards. Slower DDR memory uses 3.3V as the internal voltage VDD while the VDDQ voltage is (usually) still at 2.5V.

That card looks almost the same as BKraptors - I think we came up with mods for it but it died prematurely :(

erm......since when has DDR been slower than SDR??

DDR = Double Data Rate
SDR = Single Data Rate

I know what they mean :stick:

I meant that the slower end of the DDR chip speeds still use 3.3V for VDDR.
