Howdy.

I've got a Centrino laptop, Toshiba Satellite Pro M10. Its got a 1.3 P-M ( 1Mb cache ) in it, and I want to overclock it.

I've got everything set up to do this. I removed the heatpipe from the chip and slapped on a waterblock I made. I can't change the FSB in BIOS, obviously, but I've found a few programs like SoftFSB that can hopefully allow me to do it through windowsXP.

All I need to know is what clock generator the thing uses.

Have read through lots of Intel datasheets on the chipset, and e-mailed Toshiba, but have had no response.

Can anyone help? FSB is currently only at 100, and I'm certain it can go at least a little bit higher.

Cheers

Find the clockgen on the board, crosscheck typenumber.
And otherwise, TurboPLL :D

just get cpucool and try all diferent plls it supports, might take some time but you will eventually find it.

I tried a couple of tools with my Acer 291 LCi. Nothin' worked. Please tell if you found one. A temp reading tool would ne fine too.

cpucool :D (if that doesnt help try mbm5 and select ALL sensors you can pick in the settings and give it a name to check if any of them is giving a temp reading)
