I would say 7300 is doable if you had RAM @ 2-2-2-5, and used CAT 4.2...

You would be matching my 5900 with a 9700, very good work indeed...

( Another AMD94 died on me last night, an "unhappy ending" :) so I am stopping benching now until the new chipsets come out. )

I have a stock Gigabyte board that blows up AMDs :D I had started to bench my Abit VIA on Friday and the keyboard only wo5rks intermitently so it was a pain, decided to go back to the suspect Gigabyte and it happened again. So that motherboard is in the bin, the AMD a keyring.


Never mind, will continue on my shed in the meantime and play some games ( a lot of people use video cards for this very purpose it seems ..... weirdo's :p: )

Will get back into the swing of it when the early adopters at XS post news of the new chipsets for AMD64's.
