FINALLY got my watercooling setup completed last night, and had just enough time to do some overclocking before I passed out...
The max speed my 2.4b SL6DV would POST at is 3.6GHz, 200MHz fsb at 1.7v. At this speed, windows usually freezes up right after login. I think my temps are holding me back :(
I also got to test my new Mushkin PC3500 Level II for the first time, and was able to post at DDR500 2.5-7-3-3 3.04v. Windows was by no means stable though. I'm hoping I'll be able to run a few benches at DDR500 if I crank up the Vdimm to 3.2v, but I'll need to install a modded BIOS and do the +3.3v sense wire mod on my PSU. Wasn't able to stay awake long enough to find its speed ceiling at 2-5-2-2.
Temps at 1.5v are 31 idle, 37 load. 1.7v temps are 35 idle, 41 load.
I'll do some more extensive testing tonight, including overclocking the gpu. Will post some pics/screenies too.

I'm at work right now, but I'm going to do some more OCing and benching + pics when I get home around 5 tonight (CST).
Funny thing happened to me last night, I hadn't turned on my computer in so long, that I forgot my Windows login password! I eventually remembered around 3am...
It was wayyyy too late last night to start benching when I had work this morning
Thanks everybody :D

Excellent job. Wish I could afford some new hardware and do the same :(

Oh mah goodness, nice OC! I'd be so happy if my SL6DV can run 3.6GHz and pass Prime...
What memory was that system using? Cooling?

You guys are making my 2.4b B0 look really bad...
Has trouble crashing at 2700mhz :stick:

that was on water. http://www.maxvla.com/host/water.jpg
however with just a slk900 it was stable at 3618mhz :)

You got yourself a heck of a cpu there...
I'm pretty sure the SL6RZ stepping 2.4b's tend to OC better than the rest...I wonder how the new D1 stepping 2.4b cpus scale?
I'm hoping when I install my rad box with a second heatercore and a more powerful pump, my temps will drop enough to make 3.6GHz stable.
Was that screenshot taken at DDR507 (4:5), or DDR406 (1:1)?

I've got a SL6RZ lying here... maybe I should hurry to get someone to test it :D I'ts a Philippine so I don't expect too much out of it but atleast 3ghz should be reachable :D
Nico OC btw, kepp pushingand we might se some 210-215 FSB :D

I have noticed that there are some nice "B" series chips out there that clock well. Here is one of my daily rigs on air at 1.625V:

Maxvla, nice watercolour, what block is that?
Gogeta, where is your videocard

hehe, I took that pic a few days ago when I was still leak testing the gpu block. As far as water color goes, thats the tone it became after a 1:20 mix of water wetter. I was thinking of adding some red food coloring or something like that...
I'll post a pic of the system with everything installed later tonight...actually, in about 2-3 hours :D

it was 1:1, my ram can't do 254mhz ;) i've got some in the mail that will but.. lol that screeny was taken like 6 months ago.

don't be too sure ;)
i had a sl6rz that couldn't even do 3ghz stable.. even under water :(
my high clocker was pretty much a golden chip.
SL6RZ Costa Rica Week 52 Year 2002
pretty much all the chips labeled as such were superb overclockers. nothing else could touch it on a consistent basis.

sandman's right. its a Dtek TC-4, great block, highly underrated.
like that red? its actually UV reactive too, but it turns orange under UV :(
i don't use watercooling anymore so its long gone. in fact everything in that picture except the hd and soundcard and 400w sparkle are long gone.

I did some extensive testing with my new watercooling tonight...I opened a window in my bedroom and had idle temps of 18c at 1.7v. :D
Turns out my Mushkin Level II PC3500 kinda sucks. Max stable speed I could get was DDR450 2.5-7-3-3@3.04v. You guys think this is weird as well? Even if it was BH6 I'd expect it to do better than that. I'm wondering if I should RMA, or do some more testing with higher voltage. But it seems like I've seen a lot of problems with this last batch of Mushkin Level II.
I'm also pretty sure my cpu has a speed ceiling of 195MHz fsb or 3510MHz. It will post all the way up to 200MHz, but wont pass windows login even when I throw 1.78v at it. I was able to complete one run of 3DM2001SE at 195fsb 1:1 and scored about 17.4K with the video card at stock...about 1000 points better than my record at 3GHz 4:5 with an OC'd card. I haven't had the chance to test the gpu OC yet, but am hoping it will get me to at least 19k.
For 24/7 use, I'm going to run it at 3.1Ghz 1.55v, 1GB DDR433 2-5-2-2 3v. Should give me some nice frame rates in UT2004
