Hi guys!I have PixelView GF4 MX440SE 64MB DDR(Samsung chips) with IR301M stabilizator. What make the Vmod for memory and GPU on this card.

Verry thx, and soory of my poor english. I've bin only 15yr old.

Do U Guys have any ideas? Please help me!
ps.: I have ca. 80003DMarks in 2k1SE - 1024x768x16, NoAA, D3D Hardware(not pure) and 32bit textures. It's good, pr bad. And i have AMD3200+ 25Mb Ram & EPOX8RDA3+

For the Vgpu mod, connect a 5-10K VR to Vfb1.

For the Vmem mod, connect a 5-10K VR to Vfb2.

There are also resistors on the board that you can connect to if you prefer to do that versus connecting directly to the IRU3033 chip.

Let me know if you want the resistor "names" to connect to and I will post them.

If you want to use a fixed resistor, then I would need you to take some resistance readings so I can calculate the value needed.

OK! But I must connect resistor from Vfb1 -> ???, and Vfb2 -> ???
Old resistor I must disconect or not??? Or the new resistor I must add to the standard resistor?

5-10K = 10k ohms?. Ok, thx!!!!!!!! U guys, are great!!!!
@tMQ jutro potestuje, mogles juz pisac po polsku...:-)
@Hell-Fire your Vmem & Vgpu mods are 100% worx?

Yes, they work without a problem, counting on the fact that you do them properly.

You should solder a wire to the middle leg of the VR, then solder that wire to the proper pin onto Vfb1. Then solder another wire to whichever ouotter leg you plan on using...then tha wire goes to a ground point.

Same thing for Vfb2.

***Important. Be sure that you set the VR to 100% resistance (max). Check it using the middle leg of the VR and ONE of the outter legs. After taking you readings and getting 10K ohms (or close to that as you may not actually get to 10K ohms), be sure that those are the legs that you use when doing the mod. If you set it to max resistance say using the leg by the screw and the middle leg, if when you do the mod you use the other outter leg, you now have zero resistance instead of 10k ohms.***

I solder: 5K, 7.5K, 10K resstor to Vfb2 & Vfb1 -> GND and this scheme are not work on my Video Card(the artefacts still alive). But every start the computer with new resistor, start 100% OK and my heatsink are not heat. Do U have other idea????? The scheme from VirtualZone and U it's very other... I'm not happy:-((( Please answer.

I'm confused... is the IR301M chip the same as IRU3033?? Just wanted to make sure both of you were talking about the same chip.

What do U mean Edward2. Talk to novice english human.... I seek some about IR 301M and    .

Hellfire is talking about chip IRU3033 and you are talking about chip IR301M. Are these chips the same?

Did you measure the GPU voltage before and after you installed the VR? Did the voltage change any after you installed the VR?

I don't know is the same the chips! How measure the voltage of GPU? And MEM? Multimeter? Where put the leg of multimter to IRU3033? ThX

Does your video card have a chip labeled IRU3033? I'm not sure if IR301M is the correct chip or not for your video card. I could not find any information about the IR301M chip on the Internet.

To measure the GPU voltage and the memory voltage, you need to connect 1 wire of the multimeter to the + side of the capacitor and 1 wire to Ground (the multimeter does not connect to the IRU3033 chip). The GPU voltage is probably about 1.5-1.8 volts, and the Memory voltage is probably about 2.5-2.8 volts. You will simply have to try measuring the voltage on all of the capacitors on the video card until you find the right ones. The capacitors are usually located near the IRU3033 chip on the video card.

You also need to measure the resistance (while your computer is shutdown) between the FB1 pin to ground, and between the FB2 pin to ground. These resistance values will tell you what size VR to install. But first you need to figure out which chip is the right one on your video card.

No! My card have chip labelled IR(U)301M, but have the same logo what IRU 3033! How lookin the capacitor? What is the capacitor?

In the upper left of the picture you posted of your video card, there is a tall cylinder labeled C42. That is a capacitor. There is a + sign to the top right of the capacitor, which marks which leg is the + side.

Measure the voltage on the + side of the capacitors. One of the capacitors should be for the GPU and one should be for the Memory.

Thats my mistake.

I was going by the standard MX440 vmods.

Didnt notice that he said the Vreg was a 301M.

Good catch Ed.

Dayus, I think the first thing you need to do is figure out which chip on your video card is the GPU and Memory voltage regulator. Maybe it is the IR301M, but I cannot find any information on that chip on the internet. What are some of the other chips on the video card?

Yes they its more, called.... later i write they names.

---update---
U2 labelled IR301M / 2H5K / F7313
U1 labelled APW7045-10 / AEC07
U5 labelled P29AB / ACT74
