24K club member!

Just hit 24K on my aircooled A64 3400+ and my FX5900.
Did the GPU voltmod last night but i can't put too much voltage on the core because of the stock cooler.

The CPU was at 228x11=2511MHz
Memtimings: 2,5-2-2-6-12-16
2,5x LDT
FX@ 520/524core (depending on test) mem 983

hey Im new here and I must say you guys have some fast rig's. :) what kind of cooling was used on your 3400+?? was it stock or an aftermarket cooler??

Im still on a 9500pro wiht a 2200+ and looking at these new AMD chips It makes me wish I had money to upgrade.

It was the stock cooler with an improved fan on it.

zeus what is your full chip code?? I think the "STEP" they call it?? also is thta a green or brown chip and is there a difference??

Update:

Just been putting my computer outside (!) and wrenched out every last MHz.
24,5K eluded me but only just...
Got to love this cold wheather,especially if you're on aircooling.
Ended up with 24496, still the fastest a64/FX5900nu on the ORB!:D :D
