I am in middle of modding my 9800Pro and instead of following the guides without asking why, here ya go:

There is only 1 SC1175 controller, but there are 3 ISL6522 controllers onboard. Just for my own knowledge, how did they determine which one to mod?

Maybe the other 2 control Vddq and Vref..?

according to the guide at ocfaq three ISL6522 are for vddq, vref and vddr... funny thiung is that on my R9800 (its OEM Sapphire with black PCB) there's only one ISL6522 - for vddr...

EDIT: oh, i got it... since it's R9700 layout i found that vref and vddq mods are done on the two IR3037A... one behind the plate and the other right next to the chip for vddr mod... pin 1 and 4.
