Ti4200- higher scores?

ok i see people with ti4200's scoring in the 22k regions, and ive gottn 15k, and im happy. but the thing i wanna know is, it shows all of them as ti4800se? whats with that

I don't know all the answers, but my understanding is that the newer AGP 8x Ti4200's show up as Ti4800se (at least in the driver name). My Asus 9480TVD Ti4200 does.

Also the top 3 Ti4200 scores are all with the new A64 CPU's.

My geforce gets 14k on 01 and its got agp 4x (see sig for compare).

What core and ram clocks did u get JimmyDean? any more info on the rest of your setup?

very close to yours, my 2500 wats at 200x12. 512mb xms. msi k7n2 delta ilsr. clocks on the card 310/620

Ive got core to 320 but thats at a stretch, looks like u got good ram tho well compared to my 580 but then thats probably cos i got samsung 4ns as the ti-4200 with 128mb ram had slower ram than their 64mb counterparts.

Basically the reason for the high scores is that a 1 freezer strapped to the cpu and another on the cpu! I doubt much more than 18k is possible with water and basic volt mods on the card (geforce4ti-4200 has 17-18k on his ti but thats a ti-4800se aswell).

i plan on volt modding my soon. i think my card has 3.3 ns but im not sure.

ummm mine is not a ti4800se, but a real ti4200! it wont show as a ti4800se either and I have not yet broke 17k but probably will and im all air cooling, no water for me :D

depends on overclocks ;) but you should break 17k with a tbred or 20k with an a64

if you got phase change onto that axp2500+ barton, and got ur fsb up to 250+ 1:1 with ur ram, we could see some very nice results. :banana:
