Hi, I wasn't sure were to post this but I putting it here. Iam planning on getting a new computer because the one I have now is kind of getting old. So put together a list of stuff I am going to get and put together and Im hoping you guys can give me some feedback on the stuff. I am a gamer so iam not sure if this good enough stuff and iam on a low buget around $800. Here it is:
-Antec Plus View1000AMG case
-Asus 52X CD-ROM drive
-Seagate 120GB 7200RPM HardDrive
-2x Crusial 512MB DDR SDRAM PC-3200
-Intel Socket 478 D875PBZLK mobb w/HT
-Antec 400W ATX12V w/2 fans PowerSupply
-Intel P4 3.0GHz w/HT
Thats what I put togther with an Alps Floppy drive and its a total around $800. If I need to put more info just tell me cause this is also my first time putting a comp together.

No vid card? Thats the nutz for a gamer. If I were on a tight buget and didn't super cool and overclock I would get a cheap @ss case $39. I mean think about ,lol. Do you really need a SOHO file server case with 10 drive bays and a window! Start with a top of the line vid card say around $400 grab a barton 2500+, get a duel channel mobo , 2X256 kingston , and a 80 gig hd and game away.It will be way better than the system you have listed W/O a vid card .hehe.
welcome btw.:D

hehe, I dont even use a case. But if your on a budget get something that suits your needs for now.Spend your money on preformance and get the frills later.

Well I changed some stuff around that I am going with:
-AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor
-MSI K8T800 Mobo
-Maxtor 80GB HD
-Raidmax 10-bay Case, Mdl 268WBP
This saves some money and I have aslo heard that AMD's are better for gaming than Intel

Raidmax cases don't have very good airflow and are heavy from what I've heard. You'd be better off getting a Chieftec Dragon or similar.
