i will be building my linux rig as soon as ups gets here today w/ my mobo, and i want to use sata. but does linux support it? on the floppy disk drivers for it (using nf7-s), it doesnt have a driver for linux os. anyone know if it will work?

found it, just in case anyone else wants to run sata w/ linux. this is for the silicon image 3112/3112A

for redhat u HAVE to type linux dd hde=noprobe hdg=noprobe
before u begin installation.

There is 3112(A) support in the current linux kernel (2.6.3). So no need for additional drivers :)
