View Full Version : sticker id on khx3200/256
hiya,
got a question i hope someone can answer..
as with all this memory hype going down about khx3200a or nona... every stick of memory has a partno printed on it, like for example the 512mb module mushkin pc3500 level 1 is labeled as #991087 - i got two sticks, bought individually and both have the same #.
so i was wondering can anyone out there check on his/her khx3200 NON-A?
could it be the number on them is like this:
1207986?
that would be 2.5v ram, so i guess it is bh5
thanks a bunch guys.. might help identify the right ram.
those part number would probably help with the big bh5 thread aswell!

Mickey, how much higher does your 256 sticks running sync compare to your 512 sticks running sync? I'm speaking in terms of straight out FSB.
Thx m8 :)
thanks alot people!
i was asking this cause i had some guy announce a khx3200 non a (on ebay) stating it runs 2.6v & timings 2-3-2-6(-1).
and so far i thought it either is khx3200 non a with timings 2-2-2-6 or it's khx3200a with timings 2-3-2-6. so i had him write down the entire label. and both his sticks - that he said he'd bought separate - had matching numbers.
but from what i see here there's some that have matching numbers and others that don't.
matching numbers would be 512mb sticks from hellfire and you, jason (p36414x2). but maybe those are just the same boatload sold through newegg or wherever you two bought those.
also what struck me as strange is that the sticks of the guy were labeled as 2.5v khx3200 where all others i've seen so far were 2.6v sticks... for the record, his were 256mb sticks.
and being the dumbass i am, i replied to him giving me the stats and said that they differed from what he wrote.. phack... i could've grabbed 2x256 for 30 euros! aaaaaah i'm stupid, i deserve a whipping, jbell??? :D
