Mushkin pc3200 level 1 ram, any experiences?

ordering a DFI infinity and a gig of ram trying to get decent ram on a budget, hoping for 220 @ cas 2 3 6 3 1 is this reasonable? anyone got this ram on a good board?

Depends what chips are on it.

BH-6: 210-240 2-2-2-5/6/11-1T
BH-5: 220-250 2-2-2-5/6/11-1T
CH-5: 220-265 2-3-2-5/6/11-1T (may also do 2-2-2-2, but wont be true 2-2-2).
CH-6 210-250 2-2-2-5/6/11-1T

Only a guess, btw.

I would think they are BH-5 or BH-6, btw.

ive havent ordered it yet be early this coming week. i really need a gig of ram for bf1942 but i dont wanna neuter myself clocking wise totally while staying around 2 bills is all. Think the mushkin is a good pick man?

i'd stick with your current setup and go A64/FX when its all settled....

Just remember you will need 2.9v minimum, too. 3.0v+ is what takes you places with BH-5/6 :D

yeah im running 2.9 now to get my 3 sticks to do 190 hehe I want to wait for 939 but me wife's old KA'7 bit the dust and shes driving me nuts without her puter so i have to buy a cpu and mobo anyway. I figure the gig o ram would work well for a future FX system and the mobo and cpu is only 143 so that aint all bad. ill give her the ol 8k3a and take an nf2 for a spin :D

so part of this is for me FX system anyway, when 939 comes out ill prolly sell the DFI and barton setup and itl be all good, till then a new toy! ;)

ive got couple 256 sticks of samsung pc2700 and couple sticks of kingston value ram with 6ns chips both do 200 and thats bout it. the kingston actually does cas2 but either way it wouldnt be real good for NF2 ultra clockin

Figure i needa give her 512 for xp to run halfway decent anyway.

for the money all been good sticks man tho Im ready for a gig of some good stuff!
