i dont know what to think about this
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-283&catalog=147&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=0
afaik, This is described as Black Level II, which is sure to be BH5
but newegg puts up the picture of "222 special" which i hear is "hand-picked" BH6.
Should I buy it? or go with zipzoomfly's KHX3200 non-A for 76.00?
Ive been waiting for weeks to finally order me some BH5, just ordered Corsair Pc3200LL from gameve.com but it was backordered which means their getting the new ones for corsair which isnt BH5. had to cancel that order...
so now i am back to square one!

It's the 2-2-2 Special. Not Level II. It has BH-6 chips.

yes that is somewhat of a mistake. it's almost as bad as when newegg offered Buffalo memory with winbond chips, but gave everyone the micron chips.

Meh all the "level 2" 3500/3200 single sticks there are false, they are just "special 222" sticks, not BH-5 but BH-6.
The only BH-5 they have in mushkin line is the $330 Mushkin 1GB Pair of 3500 level 2, which I bought a week ago for 300 shipped rofl! :D

Yup, I remember I chose Auto notify when NewEgg ran out of stock of Buffalo 256mb BH-5 sticks.
I got an email stating they got them, so I went to site and looked at picture before I ordered and they said Infineon chips
Oh well atleast they didn't try lying to me.

I bought the 1 Gig kit of 3500 Lvl 2 from newegg week ago, silver heatspreads.
Haven't gotten a chance to use them, don't plan on taking the heatspreaders off until I know whether they suck or not. Have to wait for Newegg to replace my dead A64 3200 :(

Just to clarify.
Mushkin is only assembling PC-3200 "222 Special" memory with Winbond BH-6 chips. It's DDR400 rated at 200MHz w/ 2-2-2 timings and have the capable, but voltage-hungry, Winbond BH-6 chips.
There is no Mushkin PC-3500 with Winbond BH-6 chips. Nor does Mushkin have the stock to assemble Black Level II PC-3500 memory with Winbond BH-5 chips. Level II (PC-3200 and PC-3500) products are all out and what's left for sale is that circulating through the marketplace (or what's remained in-stock).
