Just got a Soyo CK8 Dragon Nforce3 motherboard with an Athlon 64 3400+ and a Radeon 9800Pro. I put everything together, but when i turn on the system i get a beep code informing me that the VGA is not working correctly. I tested the card in another motherboard and it worked fine. I also tested another AGP card in the motherboard and it didn't work. I tested a PCI video card and it worked fine. I think there may be a problem with the AGP slot on the motherboard, what do you think?

I think you answered your own question :(
It is possible you have a faulty AGP slot, have you tried running everything out of the board? Clearing CMOS, I assume you already tried?

I have in my mind two things: Incompatibilyty or AGP slot default
Maybe you're not getting enough agp voltage? Shrug.

Went Soyo because they were out of shuttles and it was the only nforce board available at the time. We're building this to sell it and Soyo appeared to be exactly the same. Oh, and closer inspection the AGP slot is faulty. One of the little pins is bent outward and the one across from it is missing alltogether. Oh well. . . . RMA
