9800np same as Pro? also benefits?

Quick question; I have a Sapphire 9800np, would a vmod for it be the same as a 9800 Pro?


Also what would I stand to gain and would I need additional mem cooling; if so to what extent?

ATM I have a Maze 4 GPU on my 9800np (flashed to pro) running a 455mhz core (3dmark) or 445mhz core (aquamark, more core intensive)

my memory is uncooled, 780mhz is 100% stable everywhere and Aquamark 3 can take 800mhz..

and I want more (aims to hit 25k on 01 with an Athlon XP)

The core mod is exactly the same as a 9800Pro.

What will you gain? That is anybodys guess as all hardware will perform differently. If you know what you are doing, and use some very good cooling, with the right combination of voltages over 500Mhz core is very possible.
