I just got a 9600XT for my games to replace a slow ti4200, but ironically the 9600XT and ti4200 are nearly identical, both scoring 14,500 to 14,700.
the bad...
the 9600XT doesn't overclock worth a damn.
it comes stock at 500/675, but I can't even go 15 mhz over the core speed, and the ram seems like its already overclocked.
cause if I remember right these cards are 600 mhz on the memory, but this is a powercolor card so I think it's overclocked alittle already, but I need to get the core up atleast alittle, cause this nearly been a useless upgrade, if it cant outperform a ti4200 whats the point...

there has to be a heat problem with your card. search google there everywere.
I've been looking for 9600XT vmods for the Sapphire card, but can't find them at the moment, the ones over on unoid will not work for my card afaik cause I have different vregs.
