I've just got my ti4600 up and running again after gifting it with a new swifty block, 80w pelt, and some Vmods in the form of a 5k and 1k pot on the gpu and memory respectively...

Before I go and crank on the pots too much, I was just curious if anyone had any insight on the point of diminishing returns as far as the voltages goes? I've got the gpu up to 1.75 volts/355mhz so far and the memory is close to 3volts with no adjustment on that pot (@1k ohm).

Just trying to save some iterations here...

Thanks for the help..

i have MSI ti4600 air cooled (Alpha HSF slapped on core and hercules ti500 ram sinks) the highest voltage i tried is 2.0V/3.1V. anything higher that that gives me funny lines and dots. i don't think you will kill your card@1.92V/3.0V. i killed 2 gainwards cos i didn't know that they're using some diffrent resistors.

i recommend that you go easy on memory, believe me i killed 4 ti4600's:eek: cos i wasn't carefull enough. anything upto 1.9v/3.0V will not harm your card, so no sweat.

lol, i've just woken up, so forgive me if it makes no sense to you

thanks for the advice.. i'm also running an msi ti4600.. I don't think I'll up the memory voltage much more. it doesn't seem to go much higher than it did without the mod anyway. i was actually really surprised the memory voltage went up to 3v with the 1k pot without even tweaking it up. I'll see if i can get 380 outta this core though.. :D

what revision is your gpu red? A2 or A3 my PNY (made by msi and has msi pcb) has the A3 and is doing over 370 now on air. Im using a 560 ohm resisor and its giving me 2.03v on the gpu on the memory a 2k pot and is running the memory at 2.95v...anything more on the memory gives me the white spots quad wad discribing

I believe it's an A2 if I remember correct. I can't check anymore since I've sanded the core flat, mostly all copper now. I was surprised how low the center of the core is.

Haven't got through 3dmark at anything above 355 yet with 1.85 volts yet. This water really warms up fast with the pelt. I'll make a few changes to the radiator setup and try for more. I was in a hurry to see if this card still worked after all the surgery so things are a little ghetto right now.. :D
