Finally getting to push my mobile 2500 barton, and so far it's doing 12x200 @ 1.75v...Priming good so far. But I want to try 12.5x, giving me a solid 2.5ghz, but it skips to 13...she wouldn't boot at 2600mhz...posted though. :) I didn't bump the voltage up anymore for 2.6, but with a stock of 1.45v on this thing...I don't wanna push it too much farther...Unless 1.85v could mean 2.7+ :)

Is there something about Mobile CPU's, I don't know ?

Why are you trying for a high multi, instead of the high fsb that board is capable of ?

TDF.

For some reason, my sticks of ram aren't playing nice @ 220 fsb anymore. Anything over 200 and booting windows just seems to hang. The computer doesn't actually lock up, the boot screen just sits there, every now and then the hd light goes nuts for about 5 seconds, and then stops...Where as at 200fsb, it boots hella fast.

weird.. i think theres probably some issue with the way this mobo reads multis and 12.5.. who knows.. this stuff is weird.

Yeah...I was hoping maybe one of the betas would fix that one...

i think its a physical problem. the clock gen it uses doesnt read all 5 bytes of data(multi data) or something, i beleave the asus a7n8x has the same problem.
