I have used the Aero 7+. Now using a Zalman CNPS7000A which is much better. Temps are lower with less noise.

I would go with something from thermalright, if you want the best go with a SP-97.

The Aero7 is not a very good option for O/cing. It cannot handle the extra heat loads. The blower design is a great one, but they haven't ramped it up enough to put out enough cfms to actively cool the copper. As it is (if my memory serves me correctly), the Aero7 only pushed about 19cfm. That's not even close to enough air to do the job right.

well I got that cooler and as u see Im running 2400mhz 200x12 with 1,9vcore. Im using silver thermal paste and I have a very good airflow (bigtower). Its 39°C idle and arounf 45-46°C load. It does the job :) But for a really good cooler I'd suggest a Thermalright SLK-900U or SLK-948U.

i'd say it should be ok for a mild overclock, as long as you don't raise the voltage too much.
