I need a cooler, so sp97 or Swiftech MCX462-V heatsink for AMD Processors? And should I get as5 or a better fan..

(this is a fan im looking at) http://www.svc.com/92zalzm.html

Quietness for around 50cfm would be good.. Right now I have a 50cfm sunon that puts out 40dba, lower would be nicer.

I would suggest if you want more cfm but low dbas, then consider getting a larger fan and an adapter. There are cone style adapters to make a 80mm fit a smaller fan opening. And so on with even larger ones, but I really couldn't tell you where to get one without a search. I usually make my own stuff like that when I need it. Hopefully someone else could help you out in that department. :)

In my experience, you can't go wrong with Zalman fans. Papst are supposed to be very good for low noise, but I haven't tried them myself.

I notice that when the fan noise level is specified, no distance is specified. I mean the noise level might have been measured at a distance of 50cm or 2m, who knows.
