Wholy mother of god......300fsb 1:1 god damnnnnnnnnnnnn

Awsome job dude. Are you gonna keep it like that for 24/7 use?

wow.. only 3v too! :D

bimmer
01-27-2004, 09:56 PM
yup...only at 3 V guys.....but i am running this for 24/7

This is some other bench with Pcmark 2002

12 K for the memory score and this is only with 2 x 256. I am sure with 2 x 512, the score would be higher:toast:

Amazing overclock! sure puts me to shame... Mind you I havn't tried more then 2.8v

See how high it can go on 2.5-4-4-7. My ram is able to do it within a couple mhz of its max at 3-4-4-8 so it might work out a bit faster for you.

That ram is kicking ass.
Very nice.:D

This is with 3.1 V but it's not stable but at least i can boot at cas 2.5..:D

Leave it at Cas 3.

2.5 wont score more than 1% more

Get clockgen and raise your pci/agp speeds to say 72/36Mhz and see if that fixes it. If you have an S-ATA HDD you can't run it over 300FSB.......at least I've never been able too

You can but just not on the ICH5 controller.

OCZ has put out some great memory. I was hitting 285FSB at 1:1 months ago with their Premeir PC4200. And I beleive that stuff still gave me my best benchies. I should throw it in and do another review on it. These below ere running a SP-94/Vantec Tornado, and since then I've installed a Danger Den RBX block, Z-chipset NB, and have a better PSU. In fact I'm gonna throw in my OCZ Premeir 4200 tomorrow. Here's my MAD experimnet;

Oh; by the by, I've been able to run up to 313FSB with SATA, I've hard you have to Disable Legacy USB Support. And I'm looking into a Spread Spectrum issue now, I've heard this must be Disabled as well? Anyone know anything about detrimental effects on overclocking with Spread Spectrum Enabled?

That's impressive. I fooled around with every IDE/bios setting I could find in the bios of my P4P800 but nothing would let me use my S-ATA drive over 300. It wasn't that big a problem though since I had some regular ATA's

Are you running it in RAID and exactly what settings do have it on in the BIOS? I've done this in each BIOS version as well, and am currently running 1014, but I've heard 1011 is better for Overclocking. I actuallytested this, and found no difference;

Move them off the ICH5.

Couldn't hurt to get a regular western digital 80g 8mb cache hard drive would it?
