As long as the 2 sticks are of the same size does it matter if single and dual sided sticks are run as a pair?
Have Mushkin and Corsair, just ordered Kingston. All are BH5, Corsair and Kingston are PC3200, Mushkin is PC3500 rated.
Anyone done so? THanks!

if you have 2* single sided 256 and one double sided 512, you're most likely to get dual channel... if you look at things logicaly...
Expirience shows that even 2*256 double sided and 512 double sided can run as a pair...
I'd say just test it, it's not like you'll burn your sticks or so something...

I'm just going to dig this old topic up instead of creating a new one.
Will this work for dual channel?
1 single sided 512mb DDR400 + 1 dual sided 512mb DDR400.
